Dr. Trenberth is a senior scientist and Head of the Climate Analysis Section of NCAR, the National Center for Atmospheric Research. He is among the most highly cited researchers in all of geophysics, has authored over 400 publications in the area of climate and has given hundreds of talks on the subject.On February 8, 2007, Dr. Trenberth testified before the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Science and Technology on Observation of Climate Change: The 2007 IPCC Assessment.
